A Wealth of Educational Opportunities

Residents of The Estates at Tour 18 enjoy the benefits of a quality public school system devoted to guiding its youth intellectually, emotionally and physically. Three school districts - Argyle ISD, Northwest ISD, and Denton ISD - serve students in The Estates. With citizenship, family values and community involvement at its core, the system provides a strong underpinning for actively involved parents who insist on the finest education available for their children.

Elementary and middle school students attend school in Argyle ISD, a small, progressive school district five miles to the southwest of Denton. In 1995, Argyle ISD achieved "Recognized" status from the Texas Education Agency's rating system, automatically qualifying it for a Texas Successful Schools Excellence award.

High school students are offered a choice between public schools in either Northwest ISD or Denton ISD. Northwest ISD offers a rural and suburban environment, emphasizing family life. Denton ISD is strongly focused on both college preparation and career training, offering comprehensive educational programming with enrichment in several areas. Collaborative programs tie Denton ISD together with both the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University.

The area's exceptional public school systems are complemented by a number of private education facilities. With such a diverse selection, families can conveniently tailor a private school education to their child's specific intellectual, financial or religious requirements.
